Eating Disorders Program Coordinator/Senior Clinician

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Clinician to lead our Eating Disorders Program at Healthscope. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality evidence-based therapy programs for clients with eating disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and implement inpatient and outpatient therapy programs for clients with eating disorders
  • Organize and conduct evidence-based therapy groups for clients
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement projects in the eating disorders program
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff and students
  • Collaborate with allied health and nursing staff to ensure seamless delivery of care
Requirements
  • Qualification in an allied health profession, e.g. Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics, Psychology (mental health nurses with specialist skills in eating disorders will also be considered)
  • Masters or Doctoral post-graduate qualification (desirable)
  • Registration with AHPRA for your profession, or eligibility for membership with AASW for Social Workers
  • Specialist training/credentialing in Eating Disorders (preferred)
  • Four years + experience as a health professional
  • Experience as a supervisor (preferred)
  • Well-developed leadership and communication skills
  • Experience with group therapy (preferred)
  • Commitment to upholding high standards of ethical practice
  • Current Working with Children Check
