Technical Services Manager Position Overview

This role presents an exciting opportunity to lead the Technical Services department at a premier underground copper mine in Central NSW.

The mine has an estimated 8-10 years of operational lifespan and several projects in development to further extend its existence.

As Technical Services Manager, you will oversee a team of 27 personnel, including 6 direct reports.

  • Plan and design mining operations, incorporating ventilation systems and ore extraction methods.
  • Enhance productivity and efficiency by monitoring production rates and identifying bottlenecks.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
  • Provide technical support to mining engineers, geologists, and other staff involved in underground mining operations.
