Job Overview

The Procurement Category Manager leads a defined supplier portfolio and partners with cross-functional teams to drive growth and supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships and partner with suppliers to ensure they meet or exceed key performance indicators, particularly supplier IFOT and quality.
  • Develop detailed category and sourcing strategies for the designated portfolio, identifying opportunities to reduce cost of supply, reduce supply chain complexity, and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Lead commercial negotiations delivering competitive to market costs.
  • Involvement in supplier change projects, NPD, and product change projects.
  • Collaborate across the wider procurement function to drive efficiencies, share best practices, and elevate procurement standards.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' experience in procurement roles is essential.
  • High commercial acumen and experience leading commercial and contractual negotiations.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and influencing skills.
  • Stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
