Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a large portfolio of construction projects, leading a team of procurement specialists and contributing to the development of strategic procurement plans.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Team Management: Manage a team of procurement staff, allocating work, developing capabilities, and evaluating performance.
  • Procurement Process: Oversee the entire procurement process with input from the procurement cross-functional team.
  • Risk Assessments: Conduct business needs assessments, supply market analysis, and commercial risk assessments.
  • Procurement Strategies: Develop and implement procurement plans and strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Commercial Contracts: Coordinate the preparation of contracts with input from procurement teams and manage their execution.
  • About You:
  • A tertiary qualification in procurement or a related field is essential.
  • Strong experience across construction/facilities management procurement, preferably in a commercial environment.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple construction projects, driving commercial growth and delivering results.
