Marketing Assistant

The Role of a Marketing Assistant is to support the marketing efforts of an organisation by implementing marketing plans and engaging with their audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase awareness of the organisation's brand and identity
  • Engage with the organisation's audience through social media platforms and other digital channels
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute marketing campaigns
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make recommendations for improvement
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing team as needed

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for the purpose of our Christian ministry and how it is expressed through our brand, identity, and marketing content
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or Communications (desirable)
  • Recent experience in a not-for-profit marketing, graphic design, communications, or fundraising role (ideally)
  • Strong understanding of digital communications and practical experience across social media platforms
  • Strong graphic design skills preferably with Adobe experience
  • Ability to work well both within a team environment and autonomously
  • Excellent written and graphical communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Strategic and committed to the big picture
  • High level of creativity and imaginative thinking
  • Good time management and multi-tasking skills
  • High level of organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Committed to undertaking duties efficiently and delivering results to deadline
