Quality Assurance Inspector

We are seeking a Quality Assurance/Control Inspector to report directly to the Director of Procurement Contracts.

This role involves working on-site in Tanami, with a 2:1 roster flying from Perth.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure works completed on-site comply with all project specifications and applicable Australian or international standards.
  • Compliantly deliver works carried out by sub-contractors for the Project.
  • Carry out audits of sub-contractors' quality documentation.
  • Support with technical queries and issue Non-Conformance Reports for non-compliant work.
  • Carry out weld inspections to ensure compliance.
  • Review and approve Welding Procedure Specifications and welder qualifications.
  • Ensure weld traceability and NDT reports are captured and submitted.

About You

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • A strong experience in a similar role, preferably in the mining industry working on major projects.
  • A focus on quality as an SMP Supervisor.
  • Good welding knowledge and versatile experience an advantage.
