Job Title: Education and Philanthropy Project Officer

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Education and Philanthropy Project Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and implementing education and philanthropy projects on behalf of a government body in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Lead and manage the planning, development, and execution of education and philanthropy projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, objectives, and best practices.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with government agencies, educational institutions, philanthropic organizations, and other stakeholders to foster partnerships, secure funding, and promote the objectives of the projects.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to identify educational needs, funding opportunities, and potential philanthropic partnerships that align with the organization's goals.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess the progress and impact of education and philanthropy projects, providing regular reports to senior management.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks, issues, and challenges associated with the projects and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Education, Philanthropy, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in the education or philanthropy sector, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • A strong understanding of the Australian education system and philanthropic landscape, including knowledge of relevant policies, funding mechanisms, and key stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders and build productive relationships.
  • Strong analytical and research skills to assess educational needs, identify funding opportunities, and evaluate project outcomes.
