About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Sustainability Manager to join our team at Snack Brands Australia. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in leading and driving the successful achievement of our environmental and sustainability strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and monitor all regulatory, legislative, and compliance requirements and changes.
  • Develop and deliver operational environmental controls and plans for our new manufacturing site in Orchard Hills.
  • Drive environmental awareness and lead communication across programs and initiatives.
  • Develop and implement our Environmental Management System (EMS) in line with ISO accreditation.
  • Provide strategic and operational business partnering support to deliver the best environmental outcomes.
  • Participate in site and steering group meetings.
  • Ensure all incident investigations are completed in full and on time, with corrective actions implemented as needed.
  • Provide and analyze data on environmental metrics, reporting results and setting targets for improvement.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to achieve objectives and monitor programs.
  • Identify areas of improvement to reduce environmental impact.
  • Support all client and internal audits.
Requirements
  • Degree qualified with a relevant qualification (e.g., Environmental Science, Engineering, or equivalent).
  • 3+ years of proven relevant experience in senior environmental/sustainability roles.
  • Confidence in influencing others.
  • Experience in leading a team.
  • Strong coaching, communication, and mentoring skills.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and planning skills.
  • High levels of integrity and accountability.
