We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Infant & Child Mental Health Clinician to join our multidisciplinary team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinic-based mental health assessment, formulation, and treatment to infants and children experiencing complex mental health difficulties in the South East region.
This is a fixed-term role supporting the team at our Casey and Frankston sites with 0.4 FTE available until February 2026.
You will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to create identified areas for change and work strongly from a relational and systemic framework.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated skills and experience in case management and assessment, working with infants, children, and their families within a multidisciplinary team.
You should possess a positive work attitude, strong communication skills, and a strong people-person focus allowing you to engage with our clients (patients) and their families.

About the RoleAn exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Infant & Child Mental Health Clinician to join a thriving, engaged team of clinicians providing medium-term treatment for infants and children (0-11 year olds) and their families in the City of Casey, City of Greater Dandenong, and Shire of Cardinia areas.
The successful candidate will work with a multidisciplinary team led by a Team Manager and consultant psychiatrists.
The Infant & Child Core Community Treatment Team provides assessment, formulation, and treatment services to infants and children experiencing complex mental health difficulties.
The role involves collaborating with families, schools, and other agencies to create identified areas for change and work strongly from a relational and systemic framework.

About ELMHSEarly in Life Mental Health Services provides assessment and treatment for infants, children, adolescents, young people, and their families.
We work with the 0-18 age group in the Southern Region.
We provide a comprehensive assessment service and a range of treatment options including inpatient treatment in times of crisis, community (outpatient) treatment, group programs, family therapy, and specialist services.
We work with families to address complex issues such as school refusal, parent/child relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, self-harm, suicidal thinking, eating disorders, neurodevelopmental presentations, and psychosis.
