Nurse Leadership Position

The District Nurse Coordinator is a leadership position responsible for providing clinical expertise and strategic direction to our organisation and the community. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing an integrated and comprehensive District Nursing Service across the Alpine region.
This role requires a high level of knowledge of clinical practice, as well as strong leadership and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be able to foster collaboration, drive innovation, and improve service delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and outcomes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve organisational objectives.
- Manage and contribute to performance reporting requirements.
- Provide training and support to staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Demonstrated experience in leading a team to achieve service plan objectives.
- High-level interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in partnership with others.
- Successful management of performance and reporting requirements.
- Experience working in rural areas and understanding community needs.
- Proven ability to plan and manage service delivery, including budgets and financial management.
