About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will assist the Site Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Moura site, ensuring the safe and efficient handling of commodities, including grain, fertiliser, and sand.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Team Coordination: Coordinate the workflow of the team, supporting the recruitment, training, and development of permanent and casual staff.
  2. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with growers, customers, local community groups, and internal stakeholders.
  3. Site Budgeting: Assist the Site Manager in implementing and reviewing site budgets, participating in financial planning, and achieving site targets.
  4. Resource Planning: Support the planning and execution of grain receival and outload activities during peak and off-peak periods.
  5. Maintenance and Quality: Assist in the planning and execution of scheduled and ad-hoc maintenance, grain protection, safety, and quality activities, with related reporting.
  6. Workforce Supervision: Supervise a large seasonal workforce during our busy harvest intake periods, including at multiple sites.

About Your Experience

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in plant operations, a safety-focused mindset, and a passion for contributing to the growth of the agricommodities industry.

Key requirements include:

  1. Leadership Experience: Proven experience in supervising teams or the potential to do so.
  2. Communication and IT Skills: Good communication skills, time management, and IT literacy.
  3. Physical Abilities: Capability to work at heights and in confined spaces.

Preferred candidates will be required to provide proof of working rights and suitable professional referees. A pre-employment medical and driver's licence are also required.
