About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at VMCH. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care to residents, assessing their needs and developing care plans to meet their individual requirements.
- Supervise and support Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to ensure they are empowered to provide the best possible care.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure residents receive comprehensive care.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of compassion, respect, and inclusion.
Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, with relevant qualification and experience.
- Experience in assessing aged care residents and formulating care plans.
- Understanding of and ability to ensure compliance with residential aged care standards, ACFI requirements, and other professional legislative requirements.
- First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, employees, and volunteers.
