About the Role
Australian Unity is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our clinical care team on a casual basis. As a Nurse Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, individualized care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver clinical based nursing care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Lead and mentor care and clinical team members, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop personalized care plans that address resident needs.
- Provide expert nursing advice and support to residents and their families, ensuring their concerns are addressed and their needs are met.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with fellow Nurses and healthcare professionals, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes the highest standards of care.
Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration and a bachelor's degree in nursing are essential.
- Previous experience working in aged care is highly desirable.
- Availability to work casual shifts across AM, PM, and Nights is required.
- Proficiency in using various systems, including online care management programs, is necessary.
- Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and recent flu vaccination are mandatory.
