Senior Visual Communications Specialist

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for delivering high-quality, timely concept development, graphic design, and multimedia services to support the electoral commission's communications objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing a diverse range of easy-to-read design products aimed at encouraging voting and informing the community about how to vote.
- Contributing to the overhaul of the website, including a redesign of the visual look and review of content presentation and structure.
- Designing attractive and engaging images and content for social media channels.
- Preparing a diverse range of design solutions to assist the agency in meeting its corporate communications objectives.
- Proactively capturing high-quality photographs of significant events and building a comprehensive photo library.
- Undertaking administrative support for Communications and Engagement communications outputs as required.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in delivering high-quality, timely concept development, graphic design, and multimedia services.
- Skilled in using technical software such as Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.
- Advanced visual communication skills, including the ability to interpret creative briefs, think flexibly and innovatively, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Working Environment:
This role requires the ability to meet objectives in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
