Visual Effects Compositor

The Role

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with supervisors and artists to composite numerous elements that complete visual effects shots. Your expertise will be utilized for live-action and computer graphic element integration.

Responsibilities include:

  • Blue/green screen extractions
  • Complex CG integration

During reviews and daily sessions, you will follow production methodologies and develop creative approaches to problem-solving while performing all aspects of visual effects design.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years VFX industry experience as a compositor on high-end feature films
  • Experience using Nuke
  • A knowledge and interest in photography and lighting
  • A showreel demonstrating a wide range of high-end work including plate-based compositing, set extensions, full CG shots, and FX and CG integration
  • Ability to manage complex work across multiple senior-level shots

Desirable Skills

  • Experience as a Roto and Prep Artist
  • Deep compositing
  • Look development experience
  • Experience mentoring junior artists
