About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated technician to support our commercial laundry operations.

The role is essential to ensuring a safe and efficient production environment through effective reactive and preventative maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on industrial laundry equipment to prevent downtime and ensure quality output.
  • Conduct regular equipment inspections to identify potential issues and address them promptly.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns, identify faults, carry out repairs, and escalate major issues as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks in the MEX system to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with the Production Team to minimize downtime and ensure continuity of operations.
  • Participate in incident investigations and support a culture of safety within the workplace.
Essential Requirements
  • A recognized trade or tertiary qualification in mechanical or electrical fields.
  • A valid Class C Driver's Licence for travel between sites.
  • Availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required.
  • A strong ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
