Industrial Maintenance Expert Sought

We are looking for a diligent and proactive individual who is passionate about problem solving to join our maintenance team in Sydney, Australia.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement preventative maintenance programs on the fleet of trains and depot infrastructure repairs/maintenance
  • Investigate faults on mechanical, pneumatic, and other components
  • Refurbish and modify rolling stock, including replacement and upgrading of components and systems
  • Respond to service breakdowns and participate in emergency response situations
  • Contribute to the preparation of Safe Systems of Work, Rule Changes, and Risk Assessments
  • Participate in integrated teams for electro-mechanical equipment changes on Metro cars

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Certificate III in Engineering (mechanical, electrical or electro technical)
  • Trade qualifications in mechanical or electrical or similar
  • Electrician license preferred
  • Minimum 3 years relevant work experience in technical functions
  • Railway industry experience an advantage
