The Department of Paediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics is seeking a highly skilled Quinquennial Visiting Dental Officer to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated dental practitioner to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality clinical care to patients.

As a Quinquennial Visiting Dental Officer, you will be responsible for providing specialist orthodontic dental services throughout the hospital, including outpatient clinics and graduate and postgraduate teaching.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Possess current registration with the Dental Board of Australia as an Orthodontic Dentist Specialist.
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Australian Residency required.

You must have sound clinical knowledge in Orthodontics, demonstrated through successful clinical practice in an environment appropriate to the requirements of the position. A high level of interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team, are essential for this role.

Experience in quality assurance activities and evidence-based best practices is also desirable, as is a commitment to teaching and supervision.
