About the Role:

The Senior Technical Officer (STO) is a key position in the Clinical Engineering department.

As an STO, you will be responsible for assisting the Biomedical Services Manager in supervising, training, and supporting Biomedical Technicians.

You will also be involved in work prioritization and planning, acceptance testing, calibration, maintenance, repair, development, education, record keeping, and consultation regarding medical technology used within ISLHD.

This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality support to clinical staff.

As part of the Clinical Engineering department, you will operate as a central reference point for Biomedical Engineering issues, following Australian Standards and Industry Guidelines.
