We are seeking a skilled engineer to join our team and advance our Fiber Optic Gyroscope technology.

Job Description

This role is pivotal in designing, developing, testing, and manufacturing cutting-edge navigation systems. You will play a crucial part in the development of FOG-based systems for outstanding performance, reliability, and manufacturability.

You will lead the design and development of FOGs and related systems, develop manufacturing processes for scalability, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and analyse test data to enhance system performance and reliability.

In addition, you will stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in FOG technology, photonics, and relevant manufacturing techniques, contribute to a customer-centric approach, and develop efficient processes for testing fibre optic coils.

  • Lead the design and development of FOG and related systems
  • Develop and refine manufacturing processes for FOGs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Analyse test data to enhance system performance and reliability
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in physics, optics, photonics, electrical engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in fiber optic gyroscopes
  • Theoretical and practical understanding of FOG physics
  • Knowledge of photonics, electro-optical systems design, and integration
  • Experience with manufacturing processes for optical or precision electro-mechanical systems
