Job Title: Senior Financial Services ProfessionalWe are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Financial Services Professional to join our team. As a key member of our financial services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality financial services to our clients.About the Role

We are looking for an individual with a strong background in finance and accounting who can provide exceptional client service and support. Your primary responsibility will be to manage client relationships, oversee project delivery, and ensure client satisfaction.

  • Support the Senior Client Manager in managing and nurturing client relationships, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and accounting standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including financial data, correspondence, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders to support seamless project delivery.
  • Train and mentor junior accountants, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Monitor changes in tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards, and share relevant updates with the team.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency and service quality.
  • Assist with onboarding new clients, including collecting documentation and setting up accounts.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Australian public practice, with a focus on tax, financial reporting, SMSF and a strong command of tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Expert in Xero and other accounting tools, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, managing multiple clients, deadlines, and priorities with ease.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members.
  • Leadership experience, demonstrating the ability to guide, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Integrity-driven professional, committed to delivering quality work while maintaining high standards of reliability and professionalism.

Other Information
