Rural Doctor Opportunity

The General Practitioner will work in a 5-doctor practice with a mixed private and bulk billing model. The medical centre has been operating for over 13 years, equipped with modern medical equipment and state-of-the-art technology. The Practice Principal is an adjunct lecturer and accredited registrar training supervisor.
The clinic is located in the town centre, close to the hospital and main shopping area. They have a pathology collection centre, dental clinic, and visiting allied health professionals on site. The practice has a dedicated Skin Clinic and is an allocated Covid vaccination site.
Required Skills:
- MBBS qualification
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Benefits:
- Remunerated as a percentage of the doctor's gross billings
- Weekday morning and afternoon sessions with optional weekday afternoons off duty
- Saturdays 1:4 rotation available
Additional Information:
The patient load per week is approximately 150. Supervision and training will be provided for procedural skills like minor operations. The practice looks after nursing home and palliative care patients.
