
Inventory Management Specialist

An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled Inventory Coordinator to join our team. As part of this dynamic role, you will be responsible for overseeing inventory management from imports to the distribution centre.
Your key responsibilities will include ensuring accurate stock levels, managing receipting and troubleshooting issues, as well as investigating stock adjustments and reconciliations.
You will also be required to manage stock movements between different plants, carry out pallet controller responsibilities, and ensure all reporting and reconciliation is conducted through the correct channels.
A Day in the Life:
- Manage inventory discrepancies and resolve issues with operations.
- Coordinate staff shop operations and ensure stock availability for sale.
- Reconcile lost and found items in the warehouse with Adjustments on and off.
- Review factory shipping plants for adjustments and balance inventory accordingly.
- Investigate causes and resolve with shipping/receiving plants.
- Process returns and recalls as required.
- Support operations team with troubleshooting issues in SAP and receivals.
- Block and unblock stock as required by factory or Supply Chain teams.
- Process workflows for new products or changes to current SKU's.
- Provide backup support to the Inventory Manager during periods of leave.

Requirements:
- Experience working in a distribution centre environment (a plus).
- Background in FMCG or related industrial experience in delivering projects.
- Strong PC skills, including MS Windows, MS Office, and SAP experience necessary.
- Positive driven and self-motivated work ethic.
- Good interpersonal skills - ability to work and communicate with others.
- High organisational skills - Ensure that plans are translated into action.
- Good level of attention to detail and the ability to follow up and multi-task.
