Family Lawyer Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Family Lawyer to join our team on a part-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a lawyer with 3-5 years of post-admission experience in family law to work exclusively with private clients.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work autonomously while being supported by a collegiate team. They will be responsible for managing their own files, working collaboratively with colleagues, and achieving realistic monthly performance targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a caseload of family law matters, including collaborative files and court work
  • Providing exceptional client service and support
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals
  • Meeting monthly performance targets and contributing to the growth of the firm

Requirements:

  1. 3-5 years of solid post-admission experience practising in all aspects of family law
  2. An unrestricted Queensland Practising Certificate
  3. Excellent oral and written communication skills
  4. Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  5. Ability to type and produce own documents and precedents
  6. Familiarity with time recording software
  7. Ability to connect and empathise with clients
