Lead Financial Expertise

Job Description

This position is a pivotal role that encompasses various aspects of financial management, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and strategic planning. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting, maintaining accounting compliance, and managing client finance with precision.

The Finance Manager plays a crucial part in driving business optimization through financial insights, identifying areas for cost reduction, and streamlining processes to increase efficiency. Effective communication with Publicis Team Leaders is essential to ensure collaborative working relationships and transparency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounting Compliance: Ensure adherence to Publicis Groupe operational and financial policies and processes, execute strategies to enforce internal financial controls, and manage implementation.
  • Financial Reporting: Maintain accountability for practices conducted by Re:Sources and Agency Finance Team, manage month-end review and submission to Groupe - Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) Review, and ensure accurate financial forecasting and input into HFM.
  • Client Finance: Manage financial aspects of Client Accounts, including budgeting and contractual requirements, identify and communicate any financial risk and scope issues associated with client accounts, and improve client account profitability.
  • Business Optimisation: Provide advice on how to improve business financial situations, identify opportunities to create efficiencies, streamline processes, and leverage resources to reduce costs wherever possible, translate cost reduction strategies into operation, and oversee monthly cost reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Prior Finance Manager background with experience in BMD / SAP is essential.
  • Experience in a media agency working with financial reporting and monthly end P&L management.
  • Strong Excel and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • High resilience & perseverance to resolve ongoing issues.
