Head of Health, Safety, and Environment Australasia

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic HSE professional to lead our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) initiatives across Australasia. As the Head of HSE Australasia, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the HSE culture across our operations in Australia and New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement HSE strategies that align with our global standards and regional strategic plans.
- Oversee the implementation and integrity of our global HSE management system, ensuring compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with HSE legislation and ensure that our operations meet all regulatory requirements across Australia and New Zealand.
- Lead initiatives to identify, assess, and mitigate HSE risks, working closely with site management to ensure effective controls are in place.
- Manage return-to-work programs and provide strategic advice on case management to minimize lost time injuries.
- Present monthly HSE performance reports to executive management, ensuring transparency and accountability at all levels.

- 8-10 years of experience in HSE, with a proven ability to influence and drive cultural change.
- Strong experience in managing HSE systems, risk management, and compliance.
- Proven track record in incident investigation and audit management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
- Formal qualifications in OHS or Environmental Management, with certifications in incident investigation and lead auditing.
