Rehabilitation Counsellor
Role OverviewSupporting individuals in their recovery from workplace injury, we focus on rebuilding confidence and regaining independence to facilitate a successful return to meaningful work.
The RoleA Rehabilitation Counsellor will guide and manage clients' journeys as they navigate their way back to daily life after a psychological injury. Influencing clients to achieve their identified goals through a holistic approach to rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities- Manage complex physical and psychological injury cases and provide health coaching, career coaching, and return-to-work support.
- Perform vocational assessments both in-person and virtually.
- Develop employer networks within NSW.
- Utilize award-winning psychosocial risk assessment tools to drive exceptional outcomes.
- Degree in Rehabilitation Counselling, Social Work, Provisional Psychology, or Psychology.
- Eligibility for registration with ASORC, AASW, or APHRA.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, including negotiation and consultation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and result-driven approach.
- Strong organisational skills and capacity to effectively manage competing priorities.
- Ability to show initiative and work independently.
- Well-developed ability to undertake research and prepare, collate, and organise data for reporting purposes.
- Ability to follow administration procedures with accuracy and efficiency.
- Current Australian driver's license and access to own vehicle.
- Police clearance and working with children check.
