Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and driven engineer to join our team in Brisbane. This full-time position offers the opportunity to balance office and site work, contributing to the delivery of key infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical oversight and engineering support for construction projects, including site inspections, progress monitoring, and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery within time constraints.
  • Analyze and interpret engineering design documents, specifications, and drawings to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Prepare detailed project reports, documentation, and progress updates for senior management and clients.
  • Assist in developing and implementing project management processes and procedures.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the water or gas infrastructure industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects, with a strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound engineering decisions.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and environmental best practices.
