Delivering software solutions to the mining industry requires expertise in cloud infrastructure management, continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and security practices. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code principles, designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, integrating security best practices into these pipelines, developing tools to monitor cloud spend and enforce budget-aware practices, collaborating with development teams to streamline build, deployment, and monitoring processes, automating operational tasks to improve efficiency, and monitoring and optimizing system performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and enhance cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code practices
  • Design, implement and manage CI/CD pipelines
  • Integrate security practices into the CI/CD pipeline
  • Develop tools to monitor cloud spend and enforce budget-aware practices
  • Collaborate with development teams to streamline build, deployment, and monitoring
  • Automate operational tasks and improve efficiency
  • Monitor and optimise system performance and reliability
Requirements:
  • Strong previous experience as a DevOps engineer (or similar)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
  • Proficiency in IaC tools (e.g. Terraform or CloudFormation)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps
  • Exposure to mining or resources sector is a bonus
