About Our Full Stack Software Engineering Role

We are seeking an analytical problem solver to join our team of experienced professionals who design, implement, and deliver innovative solutions. As a Full Stack Staff Software Engineer, you will be part of the eIRS (Electronic Interest Rate Swap) project, working on a greenfields initiative. Your key responsibility will be to develop a new pricing and trading engine that forms the core offering for our swaps trading desk.

You will perform hands-on coding and drive the technical evolution of this system by contributing to end-to-end design, implementation, and delivery. This includes developing User Interfaces, APIs, microservices, backend components, data access layers, and driving process improvements that add significant business value.

We utilize a range of tools, languages, and frameworks, but do not require expertise in all areas. Experience with some of these will enhance your success in this team:

  • Front-end experience with Angular, React, RxJS, Typescript, and Node.JS.
  • Backend experience with Core Java and SpringBoot.
  • Proficiency in asynchronous microservices architecture and API design patterns.
  • Working knowledge of Apache Kafka and Redis (or equivalent).
  • Hands-on experience with Cloud platform - AWS preferred.
  • Front-office trading experience - Highly desirable.
  • CI/CD configuration (TeamCity, Octopus) experience especially in Cloud environments.
  • Maven experience - Desirable.
