About the Role
Cabrini Health Limited is seeking a dedicated and adaptable individual to join our team as an Emergency Department Clerk. The ED Clerk will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Emergency Department by performing various administrative activities and duties, including registration, payment processing, and admissions.
As an integral part of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for registering patients, collecting necessary information accurately, and processing payments. You will also assist with admissions and discharge procedures, submit online claims to Medicare, and maintain patient records while ensuring confidentiality of information.
Key Responsibilities

- Always maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service
- Working flexible shifts to support the 24-hour service provision of the Emergency Department
About You
To succeed in this role, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively, and strong attention to detail and accuracy. Previous experience in a clerical or administrative role is preferred, and knowledge of medical terminology would be advantageous. You will also require proficiency in basic computer applications and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
