Job Opportunity: Diesel Fitter

We are seeking a skilled diesel fitter to lead machine maintenance activities in a dynamic team environment.

  • This role involves component replacement, overhaul, repairs, fault diagnostics, and daily inspections of heavy earthmoving equipment.
About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for executing planned repairs within time and cost requirements while ensuring compliance with safety procedures.

  • Direct a team and be self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
  • Prior experience as a Leading Hand is essential.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A trade qualification as a Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter or Plant Mechanic.
  • Post-trade experience in the mining industry.
  • A current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 certification.
  • A valid Queensland driver's license.
