About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to join our Specialist Tax team, based in Brisbane, Melbourne, or Sydney. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for running client delivery teams and providing consulting support on a variety of challenging and rewarding local and international engagements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide commercially focused advice to clients on state taxes, such as stamp duty and land tax.
  • Prepare lodgements, private ruling applications, and exemption applications on state taxes matters.
  • Cultivate and maintain client relationships while working closely with internal teams.
  • Drive growth while building a personal brand, leveraging internal and external networks to deliver enhanced career and client opportunities.
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and training opportunities to other team members, contributing to a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Qualification(s) and/or professional accreditation(s) in a relevant discipline such as Law, Accounting, or Business/Commerce.
  • Significant relevant experience in a similar environment, such as accounting or law.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, written and spoken communication skills, with an interest in developing strong client relationships.
  • Ability to interpret, formulate, and present technical and legal advice to different audiences.
  • A willingness and ability to provide coaching and mentorship to less experienced team members.
