Job Title

Deliver end-to-end piping engineering solutions for diverse projects across the energy, chemicals, and mineral processing industries.

This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design, develop, and implement piping engineering documents, specifications, and designs.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and prepare Piping Engineering documents such as piping and valve specifications, line lists, and pipe support schedules.
  • Review and check design deliverables including piping isometrics, piping plans, plant layout drawings.
  • Perform piping stress analysis and layout optimisation.
  • Provide advice to design teams on pipe routing and equipment layout.
  • Review vendor data relative to piping engineering activities.
  • Manage communication of piping design information between engineering and design teams as well as client stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support to sites for improvement, maintenance, and modification.
Qualifications and Skills
  • 5-10 years of experience in design engineering roles.
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical, Metallurgy, or Minerals Processing).
  • Mining and/or metals industry experience.
  • Familiarity with production reporting systems, historian data analytics, or other data and document management systems is highly valued.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Capable of working safely and efficiently both independently and in a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
