Position OverviewThe Talent Experience Manager serves as a strategic and commercially-focused professional, working closely with leaders across 1-2 business units to harness talent for profitable growth while supporting the firm's overarching goals. This role involves providing coaching and strategic counsel to senior leaders, acting as a trusted advisor, and utilizing data and analytics to inform people strategies that yield commercial benefits.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborating with Business Unit Leaders, Practice Group Heads, and other stakeholders to create people solutions that align with the firm's objectives.
- Working alongside the Head of Talent and Talent Experience Consultants to implement business unit strategies effectively.
- Leveraging data and analytics to offer insights that guide business leaders in making informed people-related decisions.
- Partnering with business leaders to devise and execute strategies for performance management, leadership development, employee engagement, compensation, recruitment, and other initiatives.
- Cooperating with teams in Resourcing, Talent Development, and Talent Operations to design and deliver talent programs that ensure a consistent experience while addressing specific business unit needs.
- Enhancing awareness and engagement around key strategic talent initiatives and projects.
- Guiding leaders through change initiatives, particularly in relation to talent management strategies, including performance, rewards, career paths, diversity, resource planning, and retention.
- Assisting leaders in managing the structure and size of business units by analyzing utilization rates and making performance recommendations.
- Providing a commercial perspective on change management initiatives within business units.
- Building a strong network and relationships across the business unit and the broader firm to establish trust as a business advisor.
- Coaching and mentoring members of the Talent Experience team.
- Serving as the primary contact for their line of business in their location.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience at a Senior Adviser level or higher.
- Strong expertise in employment relations.
- Comprehensive understanding of company policies, National Employment Standards, industrial awards, and Fair Work regulations.
- Exceptional skills in relationship building and influence.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen across various domains.
- Deep knowledge of talent strategy and business operations.
- Sound judgment with the ability to balance risk and commercial outcomes.
- Expertise in data analysis and people analytics.
- Strong coaching and development skills for leaders.
- Experience in change management and workforce planning.
- Proactive approach with a focus on personal growth and resilience.
- Specialized knowledge in global mobility, secondments, and rewards is highly desirable.
