Position Overview

The Talent Experience Manager serves as a strategic and commercially-focused professional, working closely with leaders across 1-2 business units to harness talent for profitable growth while supporting the firm's overarching goals. This role involves providing coaching and strategic counsel to senior leaders, acting as a trusted advisor, and utilizing data and analytics to inform people strategies that yield commercial benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborating with Business Unit Leaders, Practice Group Heads, and other stakeholders to create people solutions that align with the firm's objectives.
  2. Working alongside the Head of Talent and Talent Experience Consultants to implement business unit strategies effectively.
  3. Leveraging data and analytics to offer insights that guide business leaders in making informed people-related decisions.
  4. Partnering with business leaders to devise and execute strategies for performance management, leadership development, employee engagement, compensation, recruitment, and other initiatives.
  5. Cooperating with teams in Resourcing, Talent Development, and Talent Operations to design and deliver talent programs that ensure a consistent experience while addressing specific business unit needs.
  6. Enhancing awareness and engagement around key strategic talent initiatives and projects.
  7. Guiding leaders through change initiatives, particularly in relation to talent management strategies, including performance, rewards, career paths, diversity, resource planning, and retention.
  8. Assisting leaders in managing the structure and size of business units by analyzing utilization rates and making performance recommendations.
  9. Providing a commercial perspective on change management initiatives within business units.
  10. Building a strong network and relationships across the business unit and the broader firm to establish trust as a business advisor.
  11. Coaching and mentoring members of the Talent Experience team.
  12. Serving as the primary contact for their line of business in their location.
Qualifications and Experience:
  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience at a Senior Adviser level or higher.
  2. Strong expertise in employment relations.
  3. Comprehensive understanding of company policies, National Employment Standards, industrial awards, and Fair Work regulations.
  4. Exceptional skills in relationship building and influence.
  5. Demonstrated commercial acumen across various domains.
  6. Deep knowledge of talent strategy and business operations.
  7. Sound judgment with the ability to balance risk and commercial outcomes.
  8. Expertise in data analysis and people analytics.
  9. Strong coaching and development skills for leaders.
  10. Experience in change management and workforce planning.
  11. Proactive approach with a focus on personal growth and resilience.
  12. Specialized knowledge in global mobility, secondments, and rewards is highly desirable.
