We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse/Midwife to join our team at the Women's and Children's Health Network (WCHN). As a collaborative arrangement between WCH and the Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network (FUNLHN), you will work in two rotations between FUNLHN and WCH to provide midwifery services.
Key Responsibilities- Assess individual patient/client needs and develop effective care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement activities to enhance patient/client safety and risk minimization.
- Provide health promotion and education to patients/clients and their families.
- Support and guide newer or less experienced staff, Enrolled Nurses, and student nurses.
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse or Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing consumer/client and family-centered care.
