Transportation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Specialist to drive between VIC and SA, transporting vehicles, trucks, and heavy machinery safely and efficiently to our customers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Drive between VIC - SA, ensuring timely and secure deliveries.
  • Safely operate trucks, heavy machinery, and other vehicles to transport equipment to designated locations.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles and machinery to ensure functionality, safety, and compliance with standards.
  • Report any mechanical issues, perform basic maintenance, and coordinate repairs to ensure the proper functioning of vehicles and machinery.
  • Maintain accurate records of trips, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance logs. Complete necessary paperwork for deliveries, run sheets.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a truck driver in similar roles, preferably in the transportation of vehicles or heavy equipment or machinery.
  • Current and Valid MC License.
  • Able to drive Road Ranger and Automatic Trucks.
  • Have a safe driving and background record.
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety.
  • Confident handling loads of high value.
  • Strong customer focus with good communication skills.
  • Good Understanding of fatigue management.
