Senior Engineer - Java / AWS

As a Senior Engineer in our International Supply Chain team, you'll play a critical role in designing, building, and supporting advanced software solutions that drive business growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Architects, Tech Leads, and Engineering Managers to create development patterns and technical designs.
  • Work closely with the team to understand technical designs and see them through the Agile development cycle.
  • Develop and implement strong automation strategies and drive similar practices.
  • Provide input to business for software solutions, estimates, and specifications.
  • Mentor and support junior developers to ensure knowledge sharing and skill development.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in Java software development in Full-Stack roles.
  • Strong background in JavaScript/TypeScript technologies/frameworks like NextJS, NodeJS, ReactJS.
  • Working knowledge of AWS Cloud Technologies (ECS or EKS, EC2, RDS, CloudFormation).
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools – GitHub actions, Jenkins, Buildkite etc is preferred.
  • Exposure to GraphQL is highly advantageous.
  • Preferred exposure to containerisation using Docker.
  • Familiarity of working in an Agile environment.
  • Background in Supply Chain is highly desirable.
