Job Opportunity

The Medical Imaging Technical Instructor role requires an individual to develop and teach RSTI course curriculum, install, de-install, and maintain lab equipment. They will also engage in occasional on-site training and service.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and teach RSTI course curriculum.
  • Install, de-install, and repair/maintain lab equipment.
  • Develop courses and training materials from conception to completion.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper scheduling.
  • Stay up-to-date on related technology.
  • Offer suggestions for additional curriculum or updating current curriculum.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in electronics or commensurate experience.
  • 3 Years teaching experience in a related field.
  • 2 Years' experience working in a related modality.
Mathematical and Scientific Skills
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts and conversions.
  • Ability to work with statistical data and apply concepts such as whole numbers and fractions, ratios and proportions, and measurement devices.
  • Ability to work with and convert industry-related units.
  • Ability to accurately identify and analyze trends.
Reasoning Ability
  • Ability to handle multiple and changing priorities concurrently.
  • Ability to work with practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
  • Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to direct the emphasis and direction of others and groups in an orderly and professional fashion.
  • Ability to identify critical issues and recommend appropriate solutions in a timely manner.
