Delivery and Logistics Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery and Logistics Assistant to deliver excellent customer service while transporting packages and goods across the city.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick up and drop off packages and goods within Sydney city limits, adhering to strict time frames and maintaining high levels of efficiency.
  • Handle fragile items with care, including paintings, laptops, excess luggage, and other valuable items, taking necessary precautions to prevent damage or loss.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines and exceed customer expectations.
  • Communicate with customers and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner, fostering strong relationships and promoting a positive company image.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Part-time availability (20 hours per week) with flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by the business.
  • Valid Australian driver's license and Work Authorisation, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role (2 years preferred), demonstrating a proven track record of success and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
