Project Specialist Role

We are seeking a results-driven Project Specialist to join our Iron Ore shutdown team.

This dynamic and fast-paced role focuses on planning, coordination, and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring the success of a well-established master schedule and the effective coordination of key stakeholders.

  • Maintain and update planning environments across all levels and time horizons
  • Track and support the delivery of actions, activities, and discrete work packages
  • Maintain registers for dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and stakeholder engagement
  • Administer the program's document management system
  • Assist the Program Lead with tasks and coordination
About You
  • Experienced Planner: Skilled in managing complex schedules and identifying interdependencies across multiple work streams
  • Results-Focused: Proactive with a strong sense of urgency, able to drive tasks to completion and hold stakeholders accountable
  • Highly Organised: Able to manage multiple priorities in a structured and self-directed manner
  • Analytical: Confident joining the dots across project data to flag issues, dependencies, or gaps
  • Adaptable: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Current C Class Driver's License required
  • Use of MS365 Suites, Task Assignments, MS Projects

Please note: This role is based in Perth, and applicants must reside in Perth to be considered.

The ideal candidate will have experience in planning, scheduling, and stakeholder engagement. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
