Role Overview

We are seeking a compassionate Community Support Worker to join our Mounties Care team in Ryde, NSW. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accompanying clients on outings and daily activities
  • Preparing meals and managing grocery shopping
  • Providing personal care and hygiene assistance
  • Performing household tasks such as cleaning and laundry
  • Offering social interaction and companionship
  • Transporting clients to appointments
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate 3 in Individual Support or equivalent qualification
  • At least one year of experience in aged care or disability support
  • A current COVID-19 vaccination
  • A valid Police Check or willingness to obtain one
  • A current First Aid certificate including CPR or willingness to obtain one
  • A reliable vehicle and relevant insurances
  • Preferrably, a dementia care qualification and excellent communication skills
Salary and Benefits

This position offers an attractive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also have access to professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.
