Lead Anaesthetics Services

The role of Clinical Director Anaesthetics is to provide clinical leadership and strategic direction to deliver high-quality anaesthetic services. The successful candidate will develop a departmental plan aligned with the health service's priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and elevating the profile of anaesthetics services.
  • Creating a 10-year departmental plan to meet community needs and prepare for future growth.
  • Collaborating with other departments to plan, develop, and implement coordinated clinical services and workforce planning.

Requirements:
  • Registration as a Medical Practitioner in Australia with AHPRA.
  • Current Fellowship of the Australasian College or other relevant fellowship.
  • Demonstrated management and operational skills to lead a team of multidisciplinary health professionals and administrative staff.
  • Ability to implement complex strategies to build support from internal and external stakeholders.
