Commercial Insights Expert

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Insights Expert to play a pivotal role in driving the strategic growth and commercial success of our online sports betting business.

This position requires a commercially-minded individual with strong analytical skills, a keen eye for market dynamics, and the ability to distill industry data into actionable insights.

The successful candidate will support commercial negotiations, licensing efforts, and regulatory submissions by delivering robust market research and customer analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research on betting markets, consumer behavior, and industry activity
  • Develop models and frameworks to analyze market trends and project revenue growth opportunities
  • Support new product development and market entry initiatives through feasibility studies and market-fit analysis
  • Review and summarize industry publications and economic data relevant to sports betting and iGaming
  • Assist in compiling evidence and research for license applications and regulatory submissions
  • Provide analytical support to the broader commercial team, including performance dashboards and KPI tracking
  • Assist in review and negotiation of key commercial contracts
  • Contribute to scenario planning and business casing
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, law, data analytics, finance or accounting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong research and data collating capabilities with demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with the online sports betting or gaming industries
  • Proficiency in data storage and data visualization tools
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a regulated industry or contributing to licensing submissions
  • Understanding of global wagering markets, especially in Australia, the USA, and/or the UK
