Xpand Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to lead the analysis and documentation of business requirements for a pivotal WEM (Wholesale Electricity Market) reform project.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the analysis and documentation of business requirements for the WEM reform project.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
- Utilize knowledge of the 5-Minute Settlement and other regulatory reforms to drive project objectives and compliance.
- Identify and recommend improvements to current processes and systems in line with new regulatory requirements.
- Develop and deliver detailed reports and presentations to senior management and other key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience as a Senior Business Analyst in the energy industry.
- Strong understanding of pricing strategies, principles, and regulatory frameworks including the 5-Minute Settlement.
- Previous experience in the Electricity retail or Energy Wholesale market is highly regarded.
- Exceptional skills in managing and building relationships with stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong facilitation skills.
- Ability to think strategically and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Perth CBD based.
- $850 a day Inclusive of superannuation.
- Exposure to working alongside one of Australia's largest energy providers.
- 12-month rolling contract.
- WEM (Wholesale Electricity Market) reform initiative.
