Senior Business Solutions Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Solutions Analyst to join our team at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. As a Senior Business Solutions Analyst, you will be responsible for defining business needs and recommending solutions that deliver value to our customers.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse and synthesise large amounts of information from differing sources to inform the future state
  • Define feature requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria with the customer experience and business goals in mind
  • Document business/functional requirements and processes using standard analysis methodologies and tools
  • Analyse data sources, data flows, and data transformations with existing source-target mapping documents for migration purposes
  • Convert business requirements into functional designs using knowledge of system capabilities, rules, and architecture
  • Conduct effective Agile ceremonies with a continuous improvement mindset around ways of working
  • Consult with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to build a shared understanding of the problem and solution whilst providing support for scope and delivery decisions.
  • Work closely with stakeholders and change management to identify impacts to business processes as a result of system or application changes

Requirements

  • Minimum five years business analysis experience
  • Banking and Finance Industry experience would be an advantage
  • Experience working with API as in contributions to a schema
  • Advanced analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities
  • Have excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to synthesise business and technical requirements/concepts and present them in simple terms
  • Experience with both traditional and Agile delivery practices including backlog creation and refinement, and associated requirements gathering, discovery and analysis
  • Ability to work well with dynamic technical teams, business stakeholders and 3rd party providers

We are a large group of Technical & Business Analysts who support large-scale project delivery for Bankwest. As part of the Business Analysis Chapter, you will be embedded within the squads, supporting our integration into the CBA Group and the regulatory changes required to maintain our compliance.
