Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Educator/Room Leader to join our team at Belmont. As a key member of our educational leadership team, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to our educators, ensuring the delivery of high-quality educational programs that meet the needs of our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of educators to deliver high-quality educational programs that meet the needs of children.
  • Develop and implement educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS).
  • Provide guidance and support to educators to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver high-quality educational programs.
  • Collaborate with other educators and support staff to enhance children's learning and wellbeing.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or an equivalent/higher qualification as recognized by ACECQA).
  • A current and valid Working with Children's Check (or the ability to get one).
  • First Aid certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.
  • Current & valid Australian Work Rights.
Desirable Skills and Attributes
  • In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS).
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other educators and support staff.
