Commercial Manager Job Summary

This is a high-visibility commercial role that plays a crucial part in driving business success. As a trusted business partner, you will provide commercial leadership, modeling, and oversight of budgets to ensure profitability and operational efficiency.

The commercial manager will be responsible for providing commercial insights, analysis, and fact-based recommendations to guide strategy and performance. They will also forecast NBD performance, identify risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations on risk-reward trade-offs.

The ideal candidate will have a degree qualification in a business or commercial discipline and 5+ years' experience in sales commercial management. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking skills are essential, along with excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide commercial insights, analysis, and fact-based recommendations to guide strategy and performance.
  • Forecast NBD performance, identify risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations on risk-reward trade-offs.
  • Deliver accurate financial impact analysis and ensure forecasts and business cases reflect current data and approved assumptions.
  • Manage risk, compliance, and audit within NBD by identifying opportunities, minimizing risks, and collaborating with teams.
  • Partner with finance teams to deliver robust business cases, track benefits realization, and apply learnings to improve future financial planning.
