About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Leisure and Lifestyle Program Coordinator to support residents in participating in various activities of interest.

As part of a collaborative team, your focus will be on creating engaging leisure programs that cater to residents' needs and promote independence.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive assessments of residents' leisure and health needs.
  • Create individualized leisure and health program plans based on assessment results.
  • Schedule programs with consideration for frequency, intensity, and duration.
  • Coordinate and supervise lifestyle assistants, providing guidance and mentoring as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will require:

  • A Cert IV qualification in Leisure and Health or equivalent.
  • Current First Aid Certificate Level 2.
  • Previous experience in a similar role in an aged care setting.
  • Understanding of Montessori principles and their application in resident care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in healthcare information systems and Microsoft Office.
