Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Nurse to join our team at Geraldton Hospital in the Midwest region. The successful candidate will work in partnership with school communities to enhance health, wellbeing and education outcomes for individuals and groups of students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enhance the health, wellbeing and education outcomes for individuals and groups of students by working in partnership with school communities.
  • Deliver high-quality nursing services relevant to community, school and child health.
  • Develop and deliver effective health promotion programs.
  • Utilize strong verbal and written skills, especially advocacy and negotiation skills, to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team and independently as required.
  • Hold a current C or C-A Class drivers license and be willing to travel throughout the region.
Position Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated ability to work in partnerships, function independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. They will also have experience delivering health promotion programs and utilizing effective verbal and written skills.
